A 73-year-old woman has died following a collision involving a Renault and a lorry on B1040 Potton Road, Abbotsley. An 84-year-old man remains in hospital with serious injuries. Read the full police update, source.
A woman has died and a man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision in Huntingdonshire. The collision, involving a Renault GRD Modus Dynamique and a white DAF truck, took place at 11.52am on Monday (29 June) on the B1040 Potton Road, at Abbotsley.
The passenger in the Renault, a woman aged 73, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke鈥檚 Hospital, in Cambridge. She died in hospital on Tuesday (30 June).
The driver of the car, an 84-year-old man from St Neots, was also taken to the same hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains. The driver of the lorry, a 46-year-old man from Sandy, Bedfordshire, was uninjured.
