Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a woman was seriously injured in a collision near Warboys. Officers and paramedics were called at about 6am yesterday morning (2 July) to the A141 Heath Road, near the headquarters of Manchett’s logistics.
A silver Skoda Octavia had crashed into a wall and metal gates. No other vehicles were involved.
The woman from Brampton, who was a passenger, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries believed not to be life-threatening. The driver, a 54-year-old man from Brampton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with minor injuries.
Sergeant Duncan Hall said: “I would like to hear from the driver of a dark Ford Fiesta, which was not involved in the collision, but didn’t stop at the scene as they could have vital information. “I would also like to hear from any other witnesses or dashcam footage of either the collision itself or the moments before.” Anyone with who saw what happened or has footage should use reference incident 98 and report it through the force website.
