Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service At 6:08pm on Wednesday (24) a crew was called to a large bonfire in the back garden of a property in Limbury Road, Luton.Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.The cause of the fire was accidental. At 6:17pm on Wednesday (25) a crew from Stopsley was called to a large bonfire consisting of wood and garden waste in Hexton Road, Lilley.

At 7:51pm on Wednesday (24) two crews from Luton were called to a fire involving two sheds, approximately 15m of fencing, undergrowth and large amounts of domestic waste in Chalton Road, Luton.Firefighters used stack drags and three hose reels to extinguish the fire, and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.The cause of the fire was accidental.

At 8:43pm on a crew from Dunstable was called to a motorbike fire in Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis. It was 100% destroyed by fire.Firefighters used backpack sprayers to extinguish the fire.The cause of the fire was deliberate.
