Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service At 1:15pm on Thursday (25) a crew from Luton and a crew from Toddington were called to a vehicle fire on M1 Jct 12, Toddington.Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.The cause of the fire was accidental. At 5:13pm on Thursday (25) a crew from Kempston was called to a large tree smouldering next to a public footpath in Spring Lane, Stagsden, Bedford.Firefighters used a hose reel jet to dampen down the tree and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.The cause of the fire was accidental.
