A man who is suspected of facilitating the arrival of 19 illegal migrants into the UK has been arrested by the National Crime Agency. The man, believed to be an Iranian national, was detained by NCA officers during a raid in Buckinghamshire this morning.
The man is suspected of piloting a small boat which brought 18 adults and one child to the UK from France in August 2025. The circumstances surrounding the crossing, and others who may have been behind it, remain under investigation by the NCA.
