Police Seek Help to Identify Suspect in Gelston Tool Theft

We are appealing for information that will help identify the man in the image. We are investigating a report of tools being stolen from a work van parked in Gelston, which is a village north of Grantham, Lincolnshire.

The theft happened around 1.55pm on 16 June. We believe the man in the image may have information that will assist our investigation and we’re asking for any information that will help to identify him.

He was driving the pictured silver Nissan QashQai, the last three letters of the registration number are WWO. We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle being driven in the area or may have been involved in other suspicious incidents.

We have partially hidden the full registration number of the car as it was being driven on cloned plates and the owner of the actual vehicle is unconnected.
