As England progress through the tournament, we understand that public interest will continue to grow, with more people coming together to enjoy the occasion. In Greater Manchester, plans are in place to help keep people safe, and policing the match will be no different to how we police any other busy Saturday night.
Across England's four matches so far, we have seen only a very small number of incidents at licensed premises. This is encouraging and reflects the responsible way the vast majority of supporters have enjoyed the tournament.
With the match taking place later in the evening, some people may continue drinking into the early hours. While you may feel fit to drive the following morning, alcohol can remain in your system for longer than you think and you could still be over the legal limit.
Officers will be carrying out roadside drink and drug-driving checks across Greater Manchester tomorrow morning. Our message is simple: enjoy the occasion, drink responsibly, look after your friends and help ensure everyone can celebrate safely.
