Detectives are investigating a GBH which occurred in Swindon. At approximately 8pm last night (3/7), a man in his 60s was attacked by a group of males near to the County Ground and Shrivenham Road.
The man sustained wounds to his head and arms which are described as serious but thankfully not believed to be life changing or life threatening. He is currently in hospital.
We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have dash cam or doorbell footage of a group of Asian males in the area of the County Ground between 8pm and 9pm on July 3. If you can help, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54260080219.
