We've arrested a fourth person after a man was found fatally stabbed in Wolverhampton, in the early hours of yesterday (5 July). Officers were alerted at 3am to a man with an injury to his chest in a car park in Clarence Street.
The man in his 20s was treated by paramedics and he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have been carrying out a range of enquiries, and last night a man aged 37 was arrested in the Bilston area.
He remains in police custody being questioned on suspicion of murder. A man aged 32, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, also remains in custody alongside a man aged 66 and a woman aged 59, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Our investigation is continuing, and we are still appealing for anyone with information or footage from around the area to get in touch. Local officers remain in the area to reassure the community and listen to any concerns you may have.
